Due to the rising hashrate of the bitcoin network caused Firepro v7800 bitcoin mining the introduction of ASICs to miniing Firepro v7800 bitcoin mining, GPU mining Bitcoins has become impracticable. The hashrate of most GPU units is below 1GH/s, and as of 2014, some single ASIC units are able to reach speeds of over 1,000GH/s while consuming far less power than used by a GPU. V8700 information in this table is preserved for historical interest, but does not include many GPUs which were released after the advent of ASIC mining.

Stream SDK 2.5 seems to have resolved many of the problems with earlier versions. Everyone's setups will be unique so this should only be a guide or starting point, not an absolute.

With that said, we’re using GUIMiner as the graphical interface for CLMiner to test OpenCL performance. Neither the GeForce GTX Titan nor the GTX 680 come anywhere close Firepro v7800 bitcoin mining AMD's Radeon HD 7990 and 7970 GHz Edition, both of which also best the FirePro W7000.



In order to test the dual-GPU cards, we started separate instances of GUIMiner and added the results Firepro v7800 bitcoin mining. We won't do this for the remaining OpenCL-based benchmarks because, if support isn't built in to the software, it shouldn't bittcoin part of the outcome.
